Thank you all for the Monday morning break to get back into town after a blistering trip to San Diego. I drove a car to my daughter who is back on campus at Point Loma Naz. (Just under 15 hours by car, thank goodness for airplanes.) And because you all would not fit into my vehicle, here is a quick photo journey to compensate. Cheers! ks

We haven't made that trip for a few years but it looks very familiar. I didn't think mono lake would freeze.

Wow, what incredible pictures! Makes me long to take a road trip to see some sights outside the Treasure Valley! The Sierra Nevada mountains were especially beautiful!

Thank you for the pictures. Made me anxious to make that trip. Haven't been to PLNU since we moved to ID. Your pics make me want to jump in the car and take off. Glad your trip was safe.

Well I think you should do just that! You might want to take a couple of days and rest along the way, I don't recommend that 15 hour straight journey. Just a glimpse of the ocean and breathing in the sea breeze will do wonders for anyone. Cheers!
