Carry On...

Good Morning Friends,
Yep, I feel a little carsick and a little seasick and bewildered too.
And yet, somehow optimistic.
And not some strange “glass half full” kind of a thing. This is different. The world has changed, no doubt. Some sort of new normal will settle in soon, even if the rate of change keeps up. Apparently we just need to get better at change! I am not great at change. What about you?
So I ask myself…
What if?
What if we all actually took time to connect? What if we lingered over dinner? What if we went outside in the sun and the air more often? What if we checked in on the lonely? And the old?
What if?
Wouldn’t we be better off? I sense we would.
I sort of feel like it is up to us to make a new life going forward. Maybe life will never be the same.
And…
Maybe it will be better.
Maybe. If we choose it.
For the fact of the matter is, life has never been normal. Humanity has always been a precarious proposition. But we are natural adapters. Adaptation is our single best human skill. Exercise it!
So let’s adapt. Let’s go on being humans together, adapting.
Let’s choose it, the better, and choose each other.
Stay close to each other. Social distancing can only do more harm than good. We really do need each other. Now more than ever.
Linger…
Listen…
Be present…
Guard your thoughts, for they will drive your behavior.
And keep hustling. We all need what you bring to the stage.
Adapt and move forward.
We are open and here to serve you. Thank you all for trusting us with your health and sharing your lives with us.
Health Comes From You.
Cheers,
ks

We seem to run along the same line of thinking quite often, don't we? Thanks JudyLynn for being a faithful reader and patient. Cheers!

Glad you got a laugh, we all need to laugh!

Laughter is the best medicine. We watched an old Red Skelton show last night. You can't help but laugh when he laughs at himself. I slept better last night.
