Filling in the Gaps

Hello friends!

It’s Abbey again, and boy, am I excited to chat with you today! Because guess what? We’re talking about one of my very favorite Standard Process products: Catalyn®. Over the past few months, we’ve looked at several spectacular products that target specific issues or systems. But Catalyn is the original multivitamin product. When Dr. Royal Lee started Standard Process in 1929, this was the first product he developed, and *spoiler alert*, is still one of the best things you could add to your daily health. Let’s get into it!

The Pitch:

What: Catalyn® is a whole food product that contains every known vitamin and mineral. And I mean every. Seriously. It’s made from fifteen whole food products that cover the gamut of everything our bodies and cells need to function properly, from root veggies to organ extracts to mushroom powder. So, it is a good source of vitamins A, C, D, and the B complex. It has ALL the goods. It’s non-dairy, non-soy, and if needed, can be purchased in a gluten-free form.

How: This is a basic support product, meaning it works well in combination with anything else you are taking, or just on its own for general health. It is designed to cover the nutritional gaps in our diets, which can become more apparent during the holidays. The suggested dosage is 1-2 per meal, or 3-6 per day. We don’t need to mess with this dosage too much, since it’s not typically used for acute care.

Where: We currently have some smaller bottles on the shelf in the office and will have some larger ones soon. If you just can’t wait, which hey, I can’t blame you, you can order it through our website here. I’ll remind you though, you get a better price in the office, and you don’t have to pay for shipping :)

Why: Beyond wanting to cover those nutritional gaps, what’s the deal with taking this multivitamin? Every supplement brand on the planet sells multivitamins, right? The truth is, Catalyn and Standard Process are not the only good quality nutrition supplementation you can get. But we at Swaim Chiropractic agree with their vision and their methods, so that’s why we recommend them! Let me give you a couple of solid reasons I like this one. Every time a new vitamin gets discovered, or more likely correctly classified, the research & development team at Standard Process checks to see if it needs to be added to Catalyn. So far, they haven’t had to add anything, because it’s all already in there. That’s a pretty great endorsement in my opinion! The other reason it’s a great product is that it is made from whole food products by cold-processing. So not only does the body know what to do with the vitamins and minerals this provides, but none of it has been broken down by heat.

Whew! If you made it this far, congrats! And if you just scrolled down to the bottom, no worries. Here’s the gist: our bodies need a large variety of vitamins and minerals to function properly. Mostly, we want to get that from our food, but where there are gaps in our nutrition, Catalyn fills in quite nicely. It’s reliable, it’s simple, and it’s time-tested.

Health is simple, & in this case, quite easy! We’d love to help you on your journey to better health. Just let us know when you’re ready for help.

Cheers!

Thank you Abbey! Have used Catalyn for three years. I was contemplating whether I should continue using this vitamin - now I know; the answer is yes. Standard Process is the best company for vitamins. You wrote a great article with lots of good information. Thank you!
