A little reality check.
According to the CDC, 647,000 Americans die each year from a cardiovascular event, namely heart attacks and strokes. That is roughly one in four deaths, every year, can be attributed to cardiovascular disease. This is only in the United States. Globally… who knows? Did I mention this happens every year?
The risk factors for cardiovascular disease are not a mystery, they are in fact widely known.
These risk factors include high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, lack of exercise, etc… we all know the drill.
And yet the line to drive through McDonald’s gets longer daily. This really is a time saver because now you can combine the above four known risk factors into one easy step!
If you are wondering if I am making a comparison between cardiovascular disease and the severity of the current global scare-fest, yes.
Why?
I draw the comparison because the above mentioned national tragedy, 647,000 deaths every year, though largely self-induced, also predisposes people to a host of other diseases, including a more profound case of Covid-19, should you happen to test positive.
The debate between wearing masks or not is obscuring this truly public health issue.
And offense (masks and vaccines) might win games, but defense (building your immune system) wins championships.
Cheers,

This is what I have been saying all along. We need to boost our immune systems by exposing ourselves to germs . Of course this is o my if you are healthy to begin with.
